Square Enix Products Introduces a New Play Arts Kai Batman at SDCC

If you are a collector of high quality actions figures you are probably aware of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line of figures.  This line of figures re-imagines comic and video game characters with a anime flair.  At the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this year they plan to unveil their newest figure, Batman by artist Tetsuya Nomura.
As you can see it's a pretty radical design.  Almost like they crossed Batman with Shredder.  Still it is very cool, and would look awesome on the mantle of my fireplace.  Currently its working title is simply "Batman (Designed by Tetsuya Nomura)."  If you are going to SDCC you can see the prototype figure at the Square Enix Booth #3829.

Harmonix Survey Hints at Next Gen Rock Band

Rock Band...  There was a time when Rock Band and Guitar Hero ruled.  Sadly, thanks in part to Activision's plan of doubling the number of Guitar Hero games released every year, the genre quickly became over-saturated.

"Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years."

Harmonix might be looking to breath some life back into the franchise.  Today I got an email from them for a survey.  One of the questions was this;

A Rock Band for the current gen consoles YES PLEASE!!!  This isn't a confirmation, but it does show they are seriously thinking about it.
